In January 2013 CoAction entered into partnership with the HSE to provide a cohesive service to children with complex needs in the West Cork area. This new service is called West Cork Child Development Services (WCCDS). This is part of the national project “Progressing Disability Services”. West Cork is one of the first places in Ireland to start the new service. This service caters for children aged 0 to 18 with complex needs including intellectual disability, ASD, physical and sensory disabilities and children with complex developmental delay.
